As the Creative Lead, Emme Design works with a team of fully licenced and insured architectural service providers to take your new build from concept to completion.

Already working with an architect? No problem, Emme Design provides Interior Design packages that take the guess work out of choosing finishes, fixtures, appliances, furniture, and décor.

1. Pre-design

We begin by identifying your requirements and general vision. Next, we gather information about the site and the surrounding neighbourhood to establish the maximum feasible structure allowable.

2. Schematic design

In schematic design we explore and develop the basic shape, spatial configuration, and broad style direction of the new structure, as well as conceptualize landscaping and exterior spaces.

3. Design development

The ideal form and function of your space is mission critical. This is where we refine your layout, layer in all utility systems such as HVAC, plumbing and electrical, develop millwork, and select all your architectural finishes, fixtures, and appliances.

4. Implementation and construction

Once Design Development is complete, we prepare and submit the technical drawings package required for your Building Permit Application.

Once permits are obtained, we begin construction and carefully manage the entire process. We know how stressful this process can seem, which is why we follow a clear system of progress reporting that keeps you informed of budget, timelines, change orders and any unforeseen circumstances that may arise.

Making your house a home is the grand finale. Our extensive roster of craftspeople and suppliers offers an array of custom furnishings, one-of-a-kind pieces and exciting finds that bring depth and visual appeal to your completed space.
